Is 27 inch road wheels vintage bike harder to convert to a fixie?
I plan on replacing the 27inch wheels with 700c wheels/tires..... I am not sure what the "cons" of doing this is...
As long as you are going fixie there shouldn't be a problem as long as the rear hubs are the same width.
If, on the other hand, you are going to single speed or for some other reason you need caliper brakes then you'll need to get long reach calipers. 700C wheels are smaller diameter than 27".
