How good is this bike?
Thinking of buying / trading for the following: 19 "2004 Trek 4300 for sale with the following extras: saddle Italia Saddle ES50 Easton Bars yeti grips RockShox Judy XC fork Shimano Deore derailure a new rear (must be installed) Lance Armstrong Giro helmet (245 million again) What would you say this series is worth? Thank you! Silverbullet, thank you very much for the mention of weapons. I am new to cycling, so do not even think about that. In fact, it would be for my husband and he is 6 feet. I'll keep the design in mind, though, when finding one for me.
For you? Maybe nothing, unless you're 6 'tall or more. 19 "is a fairly large frame mountain bike. Yes, you will be able to obtain this subject and adjust the seat height due to the slope top tube, but you will be very wide (again, unless you're really great ...). 245 million helmet?!? Please .... Again, worthless to you unless its the right size. A long shot, unless you have already tried it on. ------ With that out of the way, the 4300 is maybe a step or two above the entry level, but certainly nothing special any more $ 500 in mint condition. It is a machine 5 years, probably assembled by a guy big enough. Not at all, I would buy without having examined closely in person. replacement bars, shocks, and the derailleur suggest a violent altercation with the ground, or at least, many hard miles. I check the frame carefully. In perfect condition, I could go as high as $ 200, but I feel that we are not talking about a virgin.
