Best road tire size on my bike?
Hello: I am a cyclist early and I'm very confused about the sizes of tires. I'm 5'10 and a big girl. I would like to buy tires for my road bike has 26 "rims (I think) and I would like to know what size of road tires I should get. Someone suggested 700c ... is not it? My fear is that the tires fit or will not be able to support my weight. Suggestions? Thank you for the great answers! So I understand that I will need 26 "tires that are smooth. The part I wonder about now is the width (?).... I guess the" x 1.25 "part is the tire width. I also feel that the more the better to carry my weight ... is not it? If yes, what would be the widest I could go without being too wide for my rims? (I am a BIG woman. Lol)
You need a 26-inch tires. You can replace the studs tires with tires that are used on cruisers (Universal tread) or you can get sheets that are smooth.
