Ksyrium Elite
2009 Mavic Ksyrium Elite's or 2009 Easton EA90 SL's?
Trying to pick which new set of wheels to get. Which of the 2009 Mavic Ksyrium Elite's or 2009 Easton EA90 SL's are a better upgrade based on weight and durability? There is also a price difference. I was able to find the Eastons for about $440 and the Mavics seem to be around $600-$650 in stores. The eastons are also about 20 grams lighter, so the obvious choice seems to be better choice, but I hear more good things about mavics which is why i'm debating. Which would you recommend?
Also what are some good tires for about $50?

Either one is fine for the quality you get! We sell the EA90 for $570 per pair and the Mavics for $600 per pair and that is depending on the sale price (which I have quoted) either one is fine as they are really equal except for the weight difference and unless you race then get the Mavic wheel as I personally believe the hubs are just slightly better but either one will be fine If you are not racing. This one is really worth beatting yourself up over as you are really looking at red apples and green apples not apples and oranges. As far as tires go if you are racing then get one with a TPI of 220 or more and if not then get a tpi of 120 but not more than 190 or a kevlar belted tire and ride on in just about any brand will be fine!
