I need your advice on road pedals (Look or other brand)?
I have a road bike shoes and now I need some pedals with cleats. I heard that the pedals are Look for those to go but I'm not sure what model get. I have about 50 pounds to go and I'm not a serious runner, but I do not go out often enough to justify the purchase. These are my first set of clipless pedals, they need to be very friendly. Look Keo pedals I've heard is Easy for beginners but I do not know if they are too basic for my needs. I also looked classic look pedals but I heard they hang in the wrong direction to most other pedals. I really need your help. Any opinions on any pedal brand will help. Thank you for your help:) Could you also explain the cut off system different pedals too, thank you. Shimano R077 shoes are, so I think they're 3-pin?
Look personally I like the pedals (not really The Keo Easy) but I think the Shimano SPD is more common in this price range - easier cleat replacements, increased availability of shoes. The SPD-5400, I think his name can be had for about 30 pounds-ish (I do not have the key on my keyboard) to certain wholesalers.
