Minor League Hockey Question?
The Philadelphia Phantoms have just gotten sold to The Brooks Group of Pittsburgh. Does this mean the Flyers(Phantoms are their AHL team) will keep all of the players and send them to a new Minor League team? Also Who will the Flyers get as there AHL team, because you cant have one team with only a ECHL team and no AHL it would be unfair.
Please Answer, I dont want to have wasted 5 points for nothing.
They will still be the Flyers AHL affiliate. The new owners are planning on moving the team to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Nothing else changes. Minor league teams are sold and relocated all the time without changing the affiliation.
