Brake Lever
Does any one know how to Remove the E brake lever from a chevy cobalt?
If so what kind of aftermarket one will work on there?
Now i wouldnt recomend doing this but....
Park Brake Lever Assembly
Removal Procedure
1. Release the park brake
2. Pull the park brake lever boot to the side
3. Remove the park brake cable adjustment nut (it's the nut on top - do a search for pics)
4. Remove the right front bucket seat (disconnect the battery before you do this and do not reconnect it until the seat is back in and the airbag sensors are hooked back up)
5. Lift the carpet around the park brake lever
6. Remove the 2 bolts (you'll see them - they're big)
7. Lift the park brake assembly up
8. Disconnect the park brake switch connector
9. Remove the park brake lever assembly from the front park brake cable
you can do this to disasemble as well
